Trix ready for her daddys birthday!!

Here We Try AGAIN!!!!

Here we try again.
If you can't already tell I suck at posting blogs. I look at every ones blogs and get jealous. Anyone who knows me KNOWS I'm incompetent when it comes to computers. I barley know the basics. SO I'm going to try and truck on and try again.

Now for the updates!!!!

We live in Memphis now!!! We are staying with Drew's parents. Were in the process of looking or homes and it seems like we will NEVER find one. Our real estate agent is a gem and is VERY patient!!! Any houses we like end up being too close to the ghetto. Anyone who has ever been to Memphis will know how IMPORTANT it is to stay Farr far away!!! SO right now it seems very trying to be able to find a three bedroom two bath house with some land. I think part of the problem is out budget. It's not bad and we could go higher but we want to make sure we are able to afford everything we need without cutting it close. I guess it would help too if I didn't have any STUDENT LOANS!! Well I guess that's the story of most people however we are real good with out money, and if anyone the cheap one its me! Surprised? I have learned my lesson.......oh have I learned. Oh well.... you live ya learn.

So for those who don't know already we welcomed a beautiful little girl into our lives in mid June of 2010. We have wanted to add another addition and since we weren't able to offer a dog a home just quite yet I asked Drew if I could get a small pet like a fish.. but then decided Trix was the one!! Let me tell you something about our long eared 4 legged girl. I don't think we could ask for a more spoiled, sassy, mean, greedy lil girl. AND WE LOVE HER TO DEATH!!! (well i do...drew deep down in his heart does!!) I picked her out because the store guy told me that shes been the one who's been there the longest. He said everyone wanted babies or smaller rabbits. That's when I decided we were going to adopt her. I didn't care that we was big boned or that she wasn't a baby. I don't believe in discrimination!!! So that was it. And from this day forward we continue to LOVE her....and she loves us... I hope...some where deep down in her heart...well if not she has to cuz we feed her anyways haha. The truth is I think she hates us but shes entertaining and I never thought I would fall in love with a rabbit. They aren't a dog BUT they are wayyyyyyyy better then cats. All in all shes gets her attitude from here dad!!! I can't wait to add a husbunn to her hahaha!!

Drew is working at JNJ trucking. He works in the office in billing and absolutely loves it!! His uncle owns the company and Drew has the benefit of working with a few of his family members. Right now I'm still waiting for my green card... and everyday I'm more more eager to start working.

At the end of Oct Drew and I accompanied his cousin Jared and his wife Sarae to a Alabama football game!! It was SO fun. We spent the day doing the runs of the park and soaking up food, fun and family. Being an Alabama fan in this family is a must!! If you're not into football... no worry, you WILL be as soon as you go to a game!! ROLL TIDE ROLL

Here We Are!!!

So its been awhile since i have last updated the blog. Nothing too much going on. Andrew is busy busy busy with work and doing very well! We only hope to continue with the success so we can plant our feet somewhat and pay off student loans!!! I have recently started to have an obsession with HOBBY LOBBY!!!!!! I loveeeeeeeeee it!!! It's been awhile since i have explored my crafty side!!! I could spend all day there!! And all my money!!! Wouldn't that be nice eh? Well so far i have decorated tin cans so i have somewhere to put all my brushes!!! HAHA sounds pretty preschool but i had fun never the less. I have also made our last name Ennis in letters!!! It was really fun and you get to mix and match the scrap booking paper. Any who there will be pictures added and everyone will be able to see my very craft skills.... or less then haha. It's hard to believe were in June already!!! Andrew and i can't wait to be able to finish off the summer and move back to Memphis!! It will be nice to get to spend time with family and actually start out real life living. On Memorial Day, because Andrews office (White Knight) reached there incentive, we were treated to a day at the beach!!! The office paid for us to enjoy jet skiing on the beach and brisket!! It was a very fun day though there wasn't a moment that sharks weren't on my mind. Needless to say i was concentrated on how i would fight off a shark if anything were to happen. I guess you can say im a wee bit paranoid!!!!!! And it never stopped even when we took a trip on the Sea doos. We hit high waves and it was hard to hold on. Had i not threatened Drew with all my heart we prob would have flipped off a couple time, once coming close but i held on with my life. When we were nearing the end my heart about jumped out of my chest. I screamed at Drew to book it while pointing at a finn popping out the water. Ya, I KNOW!!!! ... Well....it turned out to be a dolphin and all is well though is it was a shark, im sure glad Andrew was quick to act... not!!! Between being scared of getting attacked by a shark and my husband attacked by one, by the end of the day i was very thankful to be alive and well.... with a living breathing unharmed husband!!

The Simple Life!!!

WELL WE DID IT!!!
April 17th, 2010 Drew and I got hitched!!!! AND IT FEELS.......good! haha.
It was HAPPY DAY and we couldn't have asked for better weather. We were married at one' O clock and at 5:30 had a reception. AND CAN I JUST SAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.............I COULDN'T have married into a better family. When I first met Drew's family I was a wee apprehensive. He told me stories prior to meeting them and from the phone, I wasn't able to understand a word they were saying! I thought he was going to have trouble understanding Jean and Eddie!!!! But of course once I met them it was hard not to get excited. The Ennis family is all very close and VERY BIG!!! Coming from a family of nine kids you think I would be prepared. I met EVERY SINGLE AUNT, UNCLE, COUSIN, NIECE, NEPHEW, GRANDPARENT AND MANYYYYYYYYY MANYYYYYYY MORE!!!!....I couldn't understand why Drew said he had a big family when there was only 5 kids but soon learned afterwords. The family is very close and does a lot of things together and are apart of everyone life. It was weird for me to witness this. coming from a family where we never grew up around aunts uncles or cousins because they are ALL in Scotland. But it was very nice!! It was fun meeting everyone and getting to know everyone. For some reason I think I'll fit in just right!!! Drew's family HELPED WITH THE WHOLE WEDDING!!!! When Drew proposed I didn't think it was possible to have a " SHOT GUN" wedding ... even though we are mormon but, I tell ya....... it was like a swarm of bee's ready to attack when I arrived in memphis, which is a LONG story in itself!!!! EVERYONE was ready to do whatever they could in order to help with it, and just when you thought it was enough.... they planned more and more and let me tell you.... again ... I COULDN'T HAVE MARRIED INTO A BETTER FAMILY!!!! Because my rents were busy attacking their own war (CHIP TRUCK SEASON)... they weren't able to come down as early as they wanted to so Kimmy ( Drews mum) Whipped Drew and I into shape and kept us on our toes, helping us get everything together. TRISHA and MARY (Trisha is Rick's sister and Rick is Drew's Father and Mary is Trisha's Daughter) Helped me pick out a dress with all the drama of a previous dress that NEVER came. They picked me up for fittings and helped with planning the WHOLE wedding... they never stopped. PLUS threw me a bridal shower.... on top of juggling their own families... All said and done it turned out to be BEAUTIFUL!!!! I couldn't have had it any better!! We had a wedding of about 85 guests!!! The reception was beautiful the dress was perfect the groom was perfect and the decor was perfect!!! It came together just beautiful!! I met some more and more family which I'm still playing name that face!!! We were really lucky to have all the help we got, it never would have came together if it wasn't for his family!! I dont think we could possibly thank them enough!! BUTttttttt I will say PLANNING a wedding of your own is NOT fun and is TOO stressful.... however... panning someone else's is fun!! Sooooo i hope I can return the favor soon.. it not to Rebecca ( My sister in law), then to one of those Tinkers... Or perhaps an Aunt Ennis??? ... So my parents were able to arrive on the thursday before the wedding and my sister's family who live in Nashville (CHING CHING!!!!) arrived too!! I wish it could have been longer but once my paper work is done there will be a long overdue visit back to Sarnia!!! A LONG LONG LONG ONE!!!! We all went out to dinner where my 2 nieces McKinley and Emmerson and Brogan were tons of fun!!! Kinley didn't remember Drew from Christmas...(muahahah) Emmy refused to talk to us simply because was too busy giving us the death stare and didn't want to!!! Brother bear is a momma's boy and when not attached to his mums hip, would only go to his papa. WE felt the love... but quickly learned if we had food.. thats when he decided he liked us... until it was gone. Anyways I got to spend a short but FUN FUN FUN time with the family!! My brother Ryan and his family were able to come down too and that was the first time I was able to see his family in a LONG time. He has four little boys and they are BOYS!!!!! hahaha... they attacked each other and have really fun personalities so its going to be fun living in Memphis after we get back from the summer so we can see Jane-claire and visit Ryan's Family.

SOOOOO I decided that it was only appropriate this I begin to blog due to the fact that we are in Texas and my life is boring!!!! Drew works from 12-930, eats dinner and goes to train for another hour for the next day!!! GOTTA love the sales!!! So because I cant work right now, I have A LOT of free time on my hands. But I can't complain just yet, its nice to have a break and it's only for the summer. SOOOOOO lets see. The married life as I would describe it.... is LAUGHABLE!!!!... Yes.... thats pretty much the only word I can use to describe it. We arrived in San Antonio on the Wednesday and moved in to our apartment on the friday. After getting everything situated Drew and I went shopping. LET ME TELL YOU.... after wondering around Wal-mart TRYING to spend as little as possible on sheets, cleaning products, food, kitchen wear... (we didn't want to bring all our new stuff from the wedding), we decided cheap was the best route.... NOT!!! $234 later.........we both looked like we were about to cry. THIS BEING ME WHO AVOIDED GOING TO MAKE UP AND CLOTHES AND ANYTHING ELSE I LIKE TO BROWSE..... let me tell you it hurt. I knew life wasn't cheap.... but living cheap is EXPENSIVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!.... We went from BRAN NAME food to GREAT VALUE.... (and grateful we are) ... we went from paying a couple hundred in rent to... WELL personally, I FEEL I was LIED TO.. but... lets just say that's when it hurt the most! I am a NAZI about water. I get into Drew EVERY time he showers. He's a boy and for some reason it takes me a good easily 30 min to get "clean" so to speak... and thats after I hound him. So has been forced to cut down to a 2 song limit. He can listens to two songs and by the time they are done HES DONE OR ELSE!!!! There's no leaving the water running when we brush our teeth or when we are waiting for the water to get hot we put it's a very VERY light stream. WE don't use lights.... thats what candles are for and I try to spare the candles cuz they cost $$$ too!! haha BUT when we do use lights its only at night and only when you think you might fall down the stairs!!! WE DONT EAT OUT..... cooking is cheaper and it does feel better not having so much junk in your system. AND WE USE THINGS SPARINGLY!!! or we try and use our imagination!!! You know what's funnier then not having a dishwasher?... Having dishwasher but running it costs money... so with much talent and thought.. after cleaning the dishes and refusing to buy a dish rack because again, that costs money we did find a way to use our dishwasher!! And its very handy too!! Its our new dish rack!!! We wash our dishes and then put them to dry in the dishwasher!!!! Hey, if it saves $$$!!!! I finally broke down and went to buy a can opener.... we forgot to pack one and after opening cans with hunting knifes I decided a can opener was worth a couple bucks more then having to pay for a Hospital bill from Drew slitting his hand open. AIR DRYYYYYYYYYY!!! YES!!!!!!! hahah we just got our washing machine and dryer today!! ahah And I ALREADY have a PLAN!!! There will be no using a dryer unless EMERGENCY ONLY!!!!!... hahah hey were students.. what can I say?... Plus I like to think of it as living the "green" life as opposed to saving money we don't have!!! WASHING!!! will be done once and will only be done with BIG loads.... no more "I'll do my whites later". I must admit me and Drew get a laugh at it... guess because it's funny going from living with mum n dad to roommate's, to now wishing we were closer to home to free load off the rents!!! hahah All in all we are doing fine!! I bought little popsicle makers so we could have a treat because we "can't afford" ones from the store... haha Drew reassures we CAN afford to buy a boy for $5 but I think its kinda funny and I know every penny counts........plus that case if i REALLY want something... I can get it muahahah!! But were fine we have money in the bank and food in our stomaches and A CUTE but COSTLY place!!! haha It's safe and have a workout gym a pool and it's a gated community so we can't complain! PICTURES TO COME SOOOON OF THE WEDDING, THE HONEY MOON AND OUR FIRST PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!
